Will vancouver, bc snow ruin my new uggs?

my boyfriend bought me uggs for xmas and i havent worn them yet because i live in vancouver and its snowing like crazy here, and i dont want them to get ruined. he bought me the sheepskin care kit too, and i sprayed it with the water repellent.. hes getting mad because he spent so much money on them yet im not wearing them? will the snow ruin them alot? also he drives so its not like ill be walkin in it alot just getting out of the car into the place im going? help pleasee.
