Gillette Stadium, June 6th Scoccer game help!!?

Okay tomorrow ( June 6th ) We are traveling up to Foxboro M from Connecticut for the Brazil Vs. Venezuela game... My boyfriend wants to leave really early ( around 1pm ) for a 8:30pm game.. Is that too early?? What is the traffic usually like in this area on a friday? Please answer only if you live or have been to GS for an event like this. Thanks!!
