What can I use to deter stray mutts and mongrels from crapping in my front yard???

Um, a pellet gun and rat poison are both absolutely ridiculous not to mention illegal ideas. There are sprays you can use that are irritating to the dog. Check a local pet store. Otherwise, you're out of luck.
