Does it mean a guy likes you if he looks at you a lot?

there's a guy at school who looks at me a lot. i only noticed it first about a week ago but it's been happening at least 3-4 times a day. i don't think he likes me, he's one of the "popular" guys, rugby player etc and i've been labeled as an "emo/grunger"i don't like him, i mean he's cute but really not my type, i was just wondering cos like he turned around in cl once and when we're walking towards each other in the corridor he looks at me even if we're both with groups of friends. he's not smiling just looking, i don't know what it means, i've never spoken to him so i don't really know him. just wondering if its a coincidence or what?
