What should I do in this situation?
I have this guy friend on facebook,(we went to school together in the 8th grade until I moved to a different state for high school about 4 years ago)who wrote to me(on facebook) saying that he liked me ever since 8th grade and he felt bad that I moved to a different state. We've been facebook friends for over 7 months, and I told him that I will be deactivating my facebook account in about a week, because it really is an addicting site(and it's my fault I go on it). He told me that facebook is the only way we could connect and that he would feel farther away from me if I deactivated my account. I let him know that he could just e-mail me if he wanted to write to me and he became upset. I wrote to him on facebook today and all he would just make small talk like "hey," and "np." He never acted like this before I told him I would deactivate my account. Before, he told me he liked me a lot and wanted to "go out"(which would be impossible, considering we both live in separate states), he was infatuated, I only thought of him as a good friend, not as a boyfriend. So our conversations have died off and he doesn't say "hello" or "what's up" anymore ever since I told him I would deactivate my account, and I might reactivate it later, but he makes it seem like I will never keep in touch with him anymore. Seriously, I don't understand guys at all. But anyways, what should I do? Just ignore him the entire time before I deactivate or what?
